We got an exclusive first look at Haven Beer Company, Connecticut's newest brewery! The brewery is planned to open next month at 2323 Whitney Avenue in Hamden, CT!

The brewery will occupy the large corner space, combining the old Mickey's Bar with four retail spaces! The old bar has been transformed into a new brewery featuring a taproom, kitchen, restaurant, beer garden, a more private space called 'The Penalty Box' for watching hockey! Check out their tentative menu in the comments!

More is in the works including bocce ball, horseshoes, a rooftop patio, the large upstairs bar! Once fully complete, this brewery will be your favorite place to spend the day!

Mikro Depot will be closing their BrgrKo location at 3000 Whitney Avenue. The craft beer bar will close in a few short weeks ahead of a new unaffiliated group taking over the space.

Mikro Depot at 0 Depot Avenue in Hamden will remain open! Make sure to continue to patronize them in their remaining beautiful space!

It's with mixed emotions I write to everyone that our time at 3000 Whitney Ave in Hamden is drawing to a close. After almost 13 years in this space, it will be a difficult transition, but both my wife and I feel it is time to downsize and focus on Mikro Depot.

We want to thank all the employees and amazing guests who have been there through good times and difficult times. We will be wrapping up in the next few weeks and hope you all get a chance to stpo by, share a drink, memory, or meal as we end an amazing run. A new unaffiliated group will be announced soon, and they will be taking over and continuing the legacy of 3000 Whitney.

Yellow King Brews will be having their grand opening of their new Bristol location this Saturday! The coffee shop/bar will be having multiple food trucks and live music!

The location serves coffee, beer, and cocktails from local breweries around the State! The location is next to The Bristol Bazaar at 67 Race Street in Bristol! Check out their hours and all the info in the attached flyer!

Back East Brewing Company in Bloomfield will debut their new kitchen next week! Back East is located at 1296 Blue Hills Avenue.

The Kitchen @ Back East will open on January 10th at Back East Brewery! The restaurant will feature local ingredients, and will incorporate the brewery's hops and malts into the menu items.

Back East is the most recent brewery to replace the rotating food trucks with their own kitchen. Labyrinth Brewing Company, Urban Lodge Brewing, Little Red Barn Brewers, and Two Roads Brewing Company have all added kitchens in the last year.
