TORRINGTON SCOOP: Sonic Express Opens!

Sonic Drive In is NOW OPEN in Torrington! The new location of the popular car-hop chain is located at 861 Migeon Avenue, the former Scarpelli’s Restaurant.

The restaurant is part of a new building including a gas station and 7 Eleven convenience store. The new location does not offer the typical drive in service, only drive thru and instore service will be available.

The restaurant has been a longtime coming. Plans were originally approved in 2019 to replace the former restaurant with this development. Construction began shortly after, but was delayed due to the pandemic.

Sonic now has 7 locations throughout Connecticut including Manchester, Danbury, Milford, New Milford, Bristol, Wallingford, and now Torrington.
