STORRS SCOOP: Nikki's Dog House coming to town!

Nikki's Dog House will be opening a second location of their famed hot dog shop in Storrs! The exact location of the new shop is not yet known.

Nikki's Dog House is a mainstay in Putnam, the original location at 5 Canal Street in Putnam has been serving up hot dogs since 1980. The restaurant serves hot dogs (of course), hamburgers, a variety of sandwiches, tacos, salads, Moo Cups (ice cream), and Moo Shakes!

The owners, Erica and Larry Groh, took over the landmark restaurant in November 2023. The couple purchased the restaurant from the family of the original owners.
