PLAINVILLE SCOOP: Aldi is coming to Town!

An ALDI grocery store is coming soon to Plainville! Aldi will occupy 21,000 square feet of space next to Old Navy at Connecticut Commons! The space was formerly home to Old Navy before they moved to a smaller space next door, and will be combined with part of AC Moore.

The plaza was set to welcome an Amazon Fresh, but those plans failed to materialize after the online-retailer slowed the expansion of their grocery store chain! The Amazon Fresh store would've combined Old Navy and Justice to create a large space.

No timeline has been announced for the opening of the store! The address of the store will be 282 New Britain Avenue, Plainville, CT.
