MULTI-TOWN SCOOP: Tommy's Wax Center Closes All Locations!

Tommy's Wax Center, an offshoot of Tommy's Tanning Centers, has permanently closed all of their locations.

Tommy's Wax Center has closed the doors of all their locations in Connecticut including Southington, Branford, West Haven, Hamden, and North Haven at the end of January. The wax centers had independent locations as well as shared space with the tanning salons.

Tommy's Tanning continues to thrive and remains open. Gift cards for Tommy's Wax Center can be used at their tanning locations or a refund can be request through their email at [email protected]

The wax center said in a statement: "Unfortunately, the last day of operations for Tommy’s Wax Center will be January 28th, 2024. The pandemic hit us all in uneven ways, and small businesses were hit particularly hard. While Tommy’s Tanning and Wellness (UV Tans, Spray Tans, Red Light Therapy, Infrared Saunas with Salt Therapy) came back even stronger, Tommy’s Wax Center did not. We sincerely appreciate the patronage and dedication of all. Again, we thank everyone for the years of patronage."
