MIDDLETOWN SCOOP: Longawaited River-Side Restaurant Opens!

The long awaited Tate's Restaurant is officially open in Middletown! The new restaurant is located at 80 Harbor Drive in Middletown, CT.

The restaurant will feature fresh seafood and more family favorites! The building will be home to Tate's, Eli Cannon Brewing Collective (a microbrewery), AL's Ice Cream Shoppe and Coffee (by NoRA Cupcake Company), and The Dragon Shack (a walk up hotdog and hamburger stand.) The Dragon Shack and Al's Ice Cream will open at a later date.

The new restaurant is owned by Rocco and Aubrey LaMonica, owners of Eli Cannon's in Middletown and Noah's at 63 Main in Essex. The restaurant has been years in the making, countless delays due to the building's age and renovation to bring it up to code.
