ENFIELD SCOOP: The Whole Donut is no more!

The final location of The Whole Donut is no more! The former chain's last location was at 920 Enfield Street in Enfield; and has transitioned into a location of King Donuts.

The Whole Donut was once a large chain of over 30 donut shops throughout Connecticut and Southern Massachusetts. The chain has slowly dwindle down to a handful of location; with many operators becoming indepedent of the franchise.

The chain once had locations in Manchester, Berlin, East Hartford, Rocky Hill, Enfield, Farmington, Hartford, Glastonbury, Simsbury, Southington, and more. The chain closed their location in Canton last year, and it became Luke’s Donut & Grill.

King Donut has taken over The Whole Donut's locations in East Hartford, Manchester, and now Enfield. They feature a similar menu to The Whole Donut, but have expanded the menu to add more breakfast items.
