BRANFORD SCOOP: USS Chowder Pot Closes Final Location!

USS Chowder Pot III has closed their doors in Branford. The restaurant was the last remaining restaurant from a once 4 location chain.

The USS Chowder Pot closed permanently after decades of services in Branford. The restaurant owner/chef John said in a statement: "With a heavy heart I have to announce the closing of our doors today. I want to say thank you for all the love and support you have shown myself and Chowder Pot lll throughout the years. I could not have done it without all of you, my staff and my family. ♥️🦞"

This was the last remaining location of the restaurant. Under previous ownership, the restaurant had locations in Madison, Clinton, & Hartford. The Hartford location closed last year to make way for a new cannabis dispensary.
