The Wapping Fair is back!
The Friends of the Wapping Fair, a new non-profit organization, has submitted an application to the Planning and Zoning Commission to host the fair this year from September 5th to September 8th (labor day weekend) at 75 Brookfield Street. Tickets would be $20 including unlimited rides, $7 for seniors, and free for children under 3 years old or 36". The fair would feature live music, magic shows, demonstrations, carnival rides, vendor fair, animals, live stock exhibits, tractor pulls, and much more! The event organizers, Jaycees Foundation, announced early this year that they would be shutting down; ending the Wapping Fair and other events they ran. The fair celebrated their 131st annual fair last year. Luckily the Friends of the Wapping Fair have picked up the torch!
