An update to our previous post about the possible development of the former Bank of America at 14 North Main Street. The developers have released the elevations of the planned multi-use building in Manchester.
The building would be comprised of first level commercial space with 2 stories of apartments on top. This plan is still subject to all local approvals including planning and zoning. No date has been set for the plans to be heard. The developer has began the process to get the building approved including applying for zoning exceptions, a erosion and sedimentation control plan approval, and a wetlands permit. Dumpy vibe, out of character for the area. Why can't they build something nice? So much more traffic. To close and big for the very close residential neighborhoods. lWe have enough stores. Some empty. Manchester is cheap and easy for developers to have their way.
