WETHERSFIELD SCOOP: Neil's Donuts eyeing Wethersfield location

Neil's Donuts is eyeing a new location in Wethersfield!

A Pre-Application has been submitted to potentially add a drive thru for a new location of Neil's Donut at the former Rite Aid building at 657 Silas Deane Highway in Wethersfield. This would be the third location for the donut shop.

According to the narrative, Neil's Donuts has entered into a 'Letter of Intent' for a new location on the right side of the former Rite Aid building. If plans move forward, the shop would occupy 4,000 square feet with a drive thru added according to application materials.

Plans are still preliminary and the pre-application will be heard at tomorrow's (02/18) Planning & Zoning Commission hearing. Pre-Application's are non-binding, a way for applicants to get feedback before formally submitting an application. Find application materials here:

Neil's Donuts currently has 2 locations in Wallingford and Middletown. The shop is known for their award-winning donuts along with coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and much more.
