A longtime Wallingford restaurant will close, but a new Irish Pub will open in its place! Tap & Vine at 171 Quinnipiac Street in Wallingford will close their doors on August 16th! The restaurant has had a wonderful 9 year run; but will close as the owner plans his retirement. The space won't be empty for long. Malachy's Public House, a new Irish Pub, will open in the Tap & Vine space later this year! The new Irish pub will have a warm and welcoming presence, with traditional Irish eats and a curated selection of beers! The new Irish Pub will continue to accept Tap & Vine gift cards once they open. They have set up their website at https://www.malachys.com/ so stay tuned for their menu and opening announcement!
