Take a look at the proposed new Colony Grill location for The Shops at Somerset Square in Glastonbury!

Earlier this year we reported that Colony Grill was planning a new location at The Shops at Somerset Square in Glastonbury. The pizza restaurant submitted renderings of their proposed restaurant to the Architectural & Site Design Review Committee; which they unanimous supported the project. Take a peek at the planned design.

The new pizza restaurant will be located in the long-vacant Coldwater Creek space at the outdoor shopping center. The restaurant will feature a large interior dining room and an outdoor patio at the back of the building. Colony Grill will also be joined by Tiger Belly Noodle & Sushi Bar next door.

Colony Grill is famous for their pizza; a thin crust pizza with their signature 'hot oil' topping. The restaurant opened in 1935 in Stamford before expanding to Norwalk, Fairfield, Milford, Shelton (soon); and out of state in Port Chester NY, St. Petersburg FL, Arlington VA, Potomac MD. and Tampa FL.
