Please message me for photo credit! A new series where we pull a memory from the archives and remind readers of the yesteryear.
Who remembers Jester's Courtyard in Meriden? Jester's Courtyard was a Burger King and adjoining entertainment complex themed to a medieval castle. The facility offered arcade games, ball pits, ride-on amusements, climbing structures, and much more. Jester's Courtyard offered kid's birthday parties. The restaurant opened in the 1980s and closed in the early 2000s. The building and adjoining plaza were demolished in 2006 and replaced with a Walgreens and typical Burger King. There is a whole Facebook group dedicated to Jester’s Court. Find it here: https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1GuRvtmni6/?mibextid=wwXIfr Do you remember going to Jester’s Courtyard as a kid?
