Willimantic’s newest coffee shop is NOW OPEN! Silk City Coffee has opened their doors at 869 Main Street in Willimantic, replacing Grounded Coffee Company. This marks Silk City’s second location since opening their Manchester shop in 2016. Silk City Coffee is owned by two local families, the Gerhard and the May families. The group is dedicated to provided the community a place to gather for delicious coffee and food. The coffee shop was listed as one of the top 100 coffee shops in the world earlier this year alongside Hartford's Story and Soil Coffee. Congratulations to the owners! The coffee shop is open Monday-Saturday 7am-2pm! Closed Sunday!
