The beauty supply store will open their doors early next month inside Kohls in Killingly! Sephora has been opening new location within Kohls stores around the country including in Lisbon and Manchester. 

The store is planned to open on April 4th!

A new housing development is planned for a parcel of land abutting UConn's Storr campus. 

Landmark Properties  recently closed on the purchase of the 1.56 acre site at 134 North Eagleville Road in Storrs. The development company plans to construct a new 738-bed student housing complex on the property, with construction planned to begin later this year. 

The developer behind the project, Landmark Properties, is set to debut their other Storrs property named The Standard at Four Corners later this year. 

The new development has been dubbed The Mark Mansfield and will house a new 7,000 square foot space for Huskies Tavern. Huskies Tavern currently occupies a portion of the existing building on-site, the plaza was previously home to Yamato, SGT Pepperoni, Wally's Chicken Coop, and many more businesses. 

Mansfield Drive-in Theatre & Marketplace has set their opening date for the 2025 Season!

The Sunday Flea Market will begin their season on Sunday, March 23rd; while movies will start playing on Friday, April 4th (weather permitting.)

A preliminary line-up for opening weekend has not been released yet. The theather runs new movies and old movies across their three screens. Tickets can be purchased online at https://mansfielddrivein.com/

Bridal On Main will be expanding their Danielson bridal shop! The store will be relocating to a much larger space on Main Street in Danielson! The shop is expected to move a few doors away to 100 Main Street, expanding their selection in a stunning new space!

The shop is still open and ready to serve you for all your bridal, prom, and tuxedo needs at 96 Main Street in Danielson. 

The bridal shop opened their doors in fall of 2024, bringing a much needed bridal shop to the area.

Two new tenants are planned for Willimantic Plaza, bringing the plaza to full occupancy!

-Town Fair Tire is coming soon to Willimantic! The tire shop will be opening a new location at Willimantic Plaza, 1589 West Main Street. Town Fair Tire has leased 6,400 square feet of space in the plaza; the space once home to Family Dollar.

-Carlson Procare has leased 4,590 square feet of space between Peking House and Wishing Well Laundromat. The space was previously home to BoxDrop Clearance Center. Carlson Procare, a physical therapist office, has an existing location at 162 Mansfield Avenue in Willimantic.

Timelines for either tenants openings were not immediately available. The plaza got a major boost last year when Ollie's Bargain Outlet opened a new store in the former Ocean State Job Lot.

Finally checked out the new Wasabi Steak & Sushi House in Coverty. The restaurant is located at 1203 Main Street in Coventry, CT.

Starbucks is open in their new North Windham location! Starbucks occupies around 2,550 square feet at 6 North Ridge Road, the former Ruby Tuesday's in the Walmart parking lot.

The new coffee shop features a large interior dining room, perfect to hang out or work on school work, as well as a drive thru and small outdoor seating area. The coffee shop's return to Windham is a welcome site.
