We are getting our first look at the menu of the new Blackstone Restaurant coming soon to Putnam! The new restaurant will be located at 35 Main Street, the former Jessica Tuesday's space!

The new restaurant will be flight-based. With a multi-option selection for pasta, appetizers, entrees, and much more will be served in a flight style! This means you can try more on the menu with every visit.

Blackstone has existing locations in Coventry and East Greenwich, Rhode Island. The owners hope to open in early 2025.

A new pizza place has opened in North Windham! Twins Pizza & Restaurant is located at 319 Boston Post Road; the former New England Pizza & Restaurant.

The space has been renovated since the previous business closed. The restaurant has received new finishes, new paint, new floors, and more.

Bath & Body Works has officially signed a lease for a new Dayville location inside of Killingly Commons! The international soap and body lotion store will mark their first foray into Windham County!

The store will be located in the former Olympia Sports space next to Mattress Firm in the plaza. The store would occupy around 4,990 square feet of space including Bath & Body Works and their White Barn brand.

Construction is planned to begin in February 2025 with a planned opening in April or May of 2025! Currently the closest Bath & Body Works location is in Lisbon, CT. The store will join fellow new-comer Ulta Beaty; Ulta opened their doors in November next to TJ Maxx.

Starbucks continues construction of its new North Windham location! Starbucks will occupy around 2,550 square feet at 6 North Ridge Road, the former Ruby Tuesday's in the Walmart parking lot.

The new coffee shop will feature a large interior dining room, perfect to hang out or work on school work, as well as a drive thru and small outdoor seating area. The coffee shop's return to Windham is a welcome site; the closest Starbucks is currently near UConn in Storrs.

Starbucks previously operated a location at 327 Boston Post Road in North Windham. This shop opened in 2008, but closed shortly after in 2009.

Pleasant Pizza will be closing their restaurant in Willimantic!

The pizza shop is located at 413 Pleasant Street in Willimantic. The restaurant will close on 12/10.

The pizza place has been feeding Willimantic since 1994. Voted 2nd Best Pizzeria in the state by the Hartford Courant's 2019 Pizza Showdown and third place in the state during the WFSB News Channel 4's 2023 Pizza Playoffs.

The restaurant said in a statement: “It is with heavy hearts we are announcing the closing of Pleasant Pizza. This is due to rising costs and health issues. We will all be moving on, but we want to thank you all for being loyal customers through this trying year and thank you all for your support. Our last day open will be this Tues 12/10/24.”

Got the opportunity to check out Two Dogs Coffee Shop in Danielson! The cute little coffee shop is located at 157 Main Street.

The coffee shop is amazing with drink offerings like cappuccinos, macchiatos, lattes, drip coffee, Italian soda, lemonade, and much more. I tried the ‘Milk & Cookies’ Latte; it was like Christmas in a cup!

They are currently hosting a ‘Shop the Shelves’ event with local artisans. Customers can shop a nice arrangement of local products that make great holiday gifts!
