Rosemary's Bakery in Watertown will be closing their doors after about 9 months of business.
The bakery opened their doors in October 2024 at 720 Thomaston Road in Watertown, next door to CaraBean. The bakery is the re-birth of the original Rosemary Bakery that closed back in 1997. The bakery plans to close once their current supplies are depleted; winding down operation sometime in July. The bakery originally opened in 1946 by John Bacco; being purchased by Rick Collier in 1983. Mr.Collier closed the bakery in 1997 and began teaching Culinary Arts. Rick Collier reopened the bakery in October 2024 to stay busy in retirement, but due to personal reasons he has decided to close. The owners are looking for a young bakery, pastry chef, or team interested in taking over the bakery.
