Two discount stores are relocating to new & bigger locations in Waterbury, while a clothing store is closing their doors. -Deals on Wheels Waterbury is NOW OPEN in their new location at 650 Wolcott Street in Waterbury, the former Big Lots store. Deals on Wheels is known as a bin store, a discount store selling merchandise out of bins in a treasure hunt experience. Each day has a different price for all the merchandise, with $12 days and a daily price decrease down to $1. The store also has a variety of discount items that are not part of the bin-pricing system including appliances and more. The store was previous located at 155 Thomaston Avenue in Waterbury. -Ocean State Job Lot will soon start work on their new location at 855 Lakewood Road! The retailer recently bought Bernie's Plaza with plans to relocate their current Waterbury store to the larger retail space. Construction is planned to begin this summer. No opening date for the new location has been announced. The national clothing store has another Waterbury location at 208 Chase Avenue. The chain previously closed their third Waterbury location at the Brass Mill Center last year.
