The new Hartford HealthCare-Go Health Urgent Care center officially opened its doors in Connecticut on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. This state-of-the-art facility is located at 174 Chase Ave. in Waterbury, specifically within the Waterbury Plaza, a site that was previously home to a Pizza Hut.
The center is designed to provide a comprehensive range of services for patients dealing with non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries. Among the offerings are on-site X-ray services and various diagnostic testing options, ensuring patients receive prompt and accurate evaluations. Patients can access care year-round, as the center operates every day, including holidays. The hours of operation are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays (Monday through Friday) and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends, making it a convenient option for those in need of immediate medical attention outside of traditional office hours. Dr. Bonnie Simmons, associate medical director for Hartford HealthCare-Go Health Urgent Care, expressed her enthusiasm about the new facility: “Our award-winning care allows patients to receive trusted medical attention right in their community. We are proud to play a vital role in enhancing healthcare accessibility for more residents.”
