Shah's Halal Food is nearing completion in Vernon and has started hiring for their new halal restaurant!
Shah’s Halal Food is planning to open in early July at 35 Talcottville Road, the former KB Toys space at Tri-City Plaza. In anticipation for their newest location, they have started hiring, make sure you apply here: https://tinyurl.com/ShahHalalVernonHiring The restaurant serves gyros, falafel, burgers, chicken, fries, and baklava. The restaurant is a late night option, usually open until midnight or later. I got a tour of the new restaurant by the local franchisee, and it is amazing! Big, bright, and welcoming! The restaurant has locations in Middletown, Bristol, Newington, Winsted, Stamford, Stratford, Bridgeport, and Danbury. The chain will open a new locations planned for East Hartford, Waterbury, and Hamden this year as well. Shah's is just the latest chain to plan a location in the plaza. Jersey Mike's recently opened in the old Weight Watchers space and 7Brew Coffee recently celebrated their opening at the former Denny’s site.
