Shah's Halal Food will open their new Vernon location on June 30th!
Shah’s Halal Food will be located at 35 Talcottville Road, the former KB Toys space at Tri-City Plaza. Check out these exclusive sneak peek photos of their interior! The restaurant serves gyros, falafel, burgers, chicken, fries, and baklava. The restaurant is a late night option, usually open until midnight or later. I got a tour of the new restaurant by the local franchisee, and it is amazing! Big, bright, and welcoming! The restaurant has locations in Middletown, Bristol, Newington, Winsted, Stamford, Stratford, Bridgeport, Hamden, East Hartford, and Danbury. The chain will open a new locations planned for Storrs and Waterbury as well. Shah's is just the latest chain to plan a location in the plaza. Jersey Mike's recently opened in the old Weight Watchers space and 7Brew Coffee recently celebrated their opening at the former Denny’s site. The restaurant will be open: Sunday through Thursday 10am-12am Friday through Saturday 10am-1am
