Shah's Halal Food is NOW OPEN In Vernon! Shah’s Halal Food is located at 35 Talcottville Road, the former KB Toys space at Tri-City Plaza. The restaurant serves gyros, falafel, burgers, chicken, fries, and baklava. The restaurant is a late night option. The new restaurant will celebrate their official opening on July 25th with a free platter! Limit one per customer. The restaurant will host a ribbon cutting with local officials including Tolland County Chamber of Commerce - TCCC. The restaurant has locations in Middletown, Bristol, Newington, Winsted, Stamford, Stratford, Bridgeport, Hamden, East Hartford, and Danbury. The chain will open a new locations planned for Storrs and Waterbury as well. The restaurant is open: Sunday through Thursday 10am-12am Friday through Saturday 10am-1am
