Plans have been submitted for a new drive-thru restaurant in Vernon! The Planning & Zoning Commission will meet tonight for a public hearing on plans to add a new 3,190 square foot expansion to the plaza at 1189 Hartford Turnpike, the plaza home to Discount Wine & Liquors. The new expansion would include space for a drive thru restaurant (with 2 drive up windows) along with a outdoor patio space. The addition to the exsiting building would be 3,190 square feet. No word yet on what tenant/restaurant is planned for the space. The public hearing will take place tonight, 08/04, at 30 Park Place in Vernon starting at 7pm.
