Headed down to Mohegan Sun for a fun ‘Forth of July’ outing!
Started off the night with some dinner at Sushi Koya at Summer Shack! The sushi was great quality and we watched it get hand rolled right in front of us. Had to check out the new tiki bar in the Sky Hotel Lobby! Tried some of their tropical drinks. The bar is a welcoming environment with tropical music and lighting. The tiki bar is a pop up event through September 12th. Read our post on the bar here: https://www.facebook.com/share/16pSTxkLiy/?mibextid=wwXIfr Headed over to the Sun Patio for the free ‘Party on Sun Patio’ a summer concert series. They had a tribute band playing covers of hit country songs along with food trucks, corn hole, outside games, and a bar. The concert series is every Friday with new bands every weeking! Find their band schedule here: https://mohegansun.com/.../schedule-of-events.mohegansun... Continued over to Comix Roadhouse for their live band. No cover charge to get in. Their band was playing country hits as well. Had a few drinks while enjoying to rocking tunes. Did not have enough courage to ride their mechanical bull though! Finally ended the night with some late night dessert from Sift Bake Shop on the casino’s second floor. I tried a Peanut Butter Cookie Sandwich, a bargain at $4.50 (especially at a casino.) Definitely a fun evening with lots of (sometime free) fun as well!
