By Jean-Luc Dube A family owned grocery store is closing their doors in Madison.
Robert's Food Center will be closing their doors after 40 years of operations. The closure comes after 12 months of lease negotiations ended with them unable to reach an agreement with their landlord. The grocery store is located at 514 Old Toll Road in Madison. The grocery store opened in 1983, stretching over three generations of the family. The store has been a local grocer, community partner, and friend to all in the town. Starting today, all dry grocery, dairy, and frozen foods will be discounted 25% off in anticipation for their closing. All sales are final. Store hours have now been adjusted to 8am-7pm daily. Stop in, shop the sales, and say goodbye to a family tradition stretching generations in Madison.
