A new Polish market has opened in Old Saybrook!
Little Polska Market & Deli is NOW OPEN at 1271 Boston Post Road in Old Saybrook. The new shop features Polish-favorites, deli meats, and other goodies. The market is a Polski Sklep - traditional Polish market and deli. Among their deli and market offerings; notary and Polish translation services are available. Robert's Food Center will be closing their doors after 40 years of operations. The closure comes after 12 months of lease negotiations ended with them unable to reach an agreement with their landlord. The grocery store is located at 514 Old Toll Road in Madison. The grocery store opened in 1983, stretching over three generations of the family. The store has been a local grocer, community partner, and friend to all in the town. Starting today, all dry grocery, dairy, and frozen foods will be discounted 25% off in anticipation for their closing. All sales are final. Store hours have now been adjusted to 8am-7pm daily. Check out Dexter's Smoothie Coffee Vault at 50 Pleasant Street in Norwich, CT. The coffee and smoothie shop is located at the Yantic River Plaza, next door to Dexter's Best Safe & Vault. The shop offers both indoors and outdoor service. Complete with a small interior lounge space with tables and chairs; or order at the outdoor walk-up window. The shop's menu consists of a variety of beverages including coffees, smoothies, hot chocolate, refreshers, Dexterccinos, frozen coffees, and much more. Lobster Landing at 152 Commerce Street in Clinton is NOW OPEN for the season! The restaurant is home to the best lobster roll in New England. The restaurant recently completed renovations on their shack, keeping the charm of the shack complete with the crooked 'O' sign! They serve lobster rolls, hot dogs, sausage-peppers-onions sub, clam chowder, lobster bisque, salad, coleslaw, corn, and ice cream from their tiny shack. The stand has become a summer destination for hungry beach-goes looking for the best lobster rolls. They are open Wednesday-Sunday 11am-6pm, closed Monday and Tuesday. The restaurant celebrated their grand reopening on April 29th, inviting the community back into their restaurant. America's Diner closed nearly a year ago after a small kitchen fire. The building has sat empty since waiting for key repairs.
