The last day of business for Staples will be Friday, March 7, 2025.
Signage posted in the windows of the store reveal the closing date and direct customers to nearby locations in West Hartford (2550 Albany Avenue), Glastonbury (49 Putnam Boulevard), and Southington (672 Queen Street). There is no official liquidation sale taking place, other than markdowns on select items. Regular store promotions are still displayed in the entrance. The office supply and copy store has been at 3174 Berlin Turnpike for over 30 years. Bob's Discount Furniture will be moving to the space from their longtime location at 3203 Berlin Turnpike this summer. Construction is expected to begin in May.

This is a stupid thing for Bobs. They will do more business in a stand alone building than lumped into the worst possible parking lot near WalMart!
