A new Restaurant Depot is being planned for Waterford! Under plans submitted to the Design Review Board and Planning & Zoning, the restaurant supply warehouse would construct a new store at 161 Waterford Parkway North. The site is currently a vacant lot between Walmart and Lowes. Under the plans a new one-story 45,447 square foot building would be built on the site for the retailer. Plans are still subject to Planning & Zoning approvals. Restaurant Depot is a members-only wholesale foodservice supplier offering food, equipment, supplies, and more to restaurant owners and other local business. Products include fresh produce, meat, dairy, frozen foods, drinks, and restaurant equipment. Membership is free for businesses, but you must have a valid business license to join the club. If approved, this would be the chain's fourth Connecticut location behind existing locations in Waterbury, Orange, and Hartford.
