A new tasting room, bar, and micro cafe could be coming to Downtown Mystic!
Veritable Distillery has submitted plans to open a new tasting room, bar, and micro cafe at 3 Pearl Street in Downtown Mystic. The space was previously home to Concrete Iris. According to the special permit application: “3 Pearl Street premises will act as a tasting room, bar and micro cafe for Veritable Distillery serving samples of spirits created at Veritable Distillery.” Plans are still subject to planning department and other local approvals. Veritable Distillery has tasting room and production facility at 34 Taugwonk Spur Road in Stonington, Connecticut. Veritable Distillery produces authentic premium spirits using only traditional methods and natural ingredients. They value old-school techniques and ingredients because they’re honest. The spirits are produced with raw materials that existed or were commonly traded in New England as far back as the 18th century.
