PORTLAND SCOOP: Union 66 Kitchen & Bar coming soon!

A new restaurant is coming soon to Portland!

Union 66 Kitchen & Bar is coming soon to 164 Main Street in Portland, the current home of The HopKnot. The restaurant and bar has a planned grand opening on October 1st.

NOTE: The HopKnot is still currently open with plans to close in mid-September for the ownership change and transition to the Union 66 Kitchen & Bar branding.

According to the announcement: "We’re excited to officially announce that Union 66 Kitchen & Bar will be opening its doors in Portland, Connecticut on October 1st! Union 66 is all about great food, cold drinks, and good people. A comfortable neighborhood spot where you can grab a bite, meet up with friends, catch the game, enjoy a cold beer or cocktail, and always feel welcome. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to bring Union 66 to life, and we can’t wait to finally share it with Portland and the surrounding community."

HopKnot fans fear not (pun intended), the new menu for the restaurant will feature plenty of beers, wings, and large pretzels. The restaurant & bar will also have events with live music, karaoke, Live Punk Fridays, and more.
