The new Noble Gas Station is off to a rough start in Sturbridge. The mega-gas station officially opened in March of 2024 and has lost 2 of their tenants. The gas station is located at 195 Charlton Road in Sturbridge, MA.

Fuel America, a chain of coffee shops, has closed their location inside the Noble Gas Station. The coffee shop featured salads, sandwiches, craft coffees, pastries, and more in their interior and drive thru space. The chain also closed their locations inside Noble's Enfield, CT and East Lyme, CT stores.

Nardelli's was planned to open inside the Noble Gas Station in Sturbridge, a sign for the sandwich shop was even installed on the building. The sandwich shop never opened their doors and the signs were removed from the building. The restaurant is still listed as coming soon on Nardelli's website; alongside a planned Enfield location inside that Noble Station.

The service station is home to a large convenience store, Yo!Boca!Taco!, Gas pumps, and a dedicate EV charging canopy. The gas station was originally to be home to an ice cream stand, though they were replaced by Yo!Boca!Taco!.

A new pizza place has opened in Springfield!

Tower Pizza recently opened their doors at Tower Square in Springfield. The business had their soft opening on Monday 01/20. An official grand opening is planned for February 3rd at 11am.

The new pizza shop is Puerto-Rican owned, resulting in a mix of Italian-American and Latin-fusion cuisine under the same roof. The restaurant has traditional pizzas like cheese, pepperoni, meat lovers, veggie, buffalo chicken, and other. The menu also has sandwiches, Puerto Rican specialty calzones, empanadas, aranitas, tostones, mofonguitos, and more.

They are open Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm.

Take a look at the new The Ground Round restaurant coming soon to Shrewsbury!

The restaurant will be located at 271 Grafton Street in Shrewsbury; the former Bauhinia restaurant. The restaurant is in the midst of renovations with plans to open very soon!

The new Shrewsbury location marks a return of the brand to Massachusetts and the region, Ground Round previously operated a location at 225 Boston Turnpike in Shrewsbury that closed in 2004. The chain has four franchised locations in Ohio and three in North Dakota.

The restaurant serves casual American cuisine including (but not limited too) burgers, steak, chicken, Tex-Mex options, salads, pastas, and more. The restaurant will serve lunch and dinner.

The owners of the Shrewsbury location, Joe and Nachi Shea, are the owners of the brand; with the other locations in Ohio and North Dakota as franchisees.

The Picklr will host a soft opening of their new Westfield location tomorrow, January 18th. A grand opening is planned for February 1st according to their website.

The new pickleball facility is located at 415 East Main Street in Westfield, inside The Westfield Shops. The new facility replaces a former Bonton department store.

There is a new grab & go Italian option in Agawam!

The Saucy Mama Grab & Go Kitchen is NOW OPEN at 1 Cooper Street in Agawam. The resutant is family owned and operated with a deep rooted love of Italian-American cuisine!

The restaurant offers grab & go meals, quick lunches, and catering services. The restaurant also has a mobile food trailer for private events.

The lunch menu includes grinders, salads, hot meals/apps, personal sicilian pizza, and a rotating specials menu. I've attached their current menus to this post; make sure you follow their social media (tagged above) to stay up to date with the newest food offerings!

Athleta is closing their location at The Longmeadow Shops in Longmeadow! The store will close at the end of January.

The store is currently liquidating according to a post by the shopping center. The store is located at 724 Bliss Road. The store opened in June 2021. Athleta is a chain of Women’s activewear stores owned by Gap Inc, parent company to Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic, Athleta, and Intermix.
