Toys R Us has opened their Holiday Pop-Up location at Holyoke Mall at Ingleside! The store took over the former Charlotte Russe space on the second level of the mall. 

The new 7,600 square-foot shop, operated by Go! Retail Group, will feature a curated assortment of popular toys and brands, including LEGO, Barbie, Hot Wheels, NERF, Paw Patrol, and more! 

The Toys “R” Us pop-up features a curated selection of the season’s most sought-after toys, games, and gifts for kids of all ages — including exclusive merchandise, family favorites, and the joyful shopping experience generations of fans know and love.

The chain currently operates numerous licensed areas within Macy’s stores throughout the State. This location will be operate by Go! Calendars & Games. Toys R Us previously operated a full-line store within the mall before converting it to a Babies R Us, then closing all together in 2018.  

BJ's Wholesale Club will open their new Springfield location on December 12th according to their website!

The new store will be located at 1655 Boston Road in Springfield, Massachusetts; the site of the former Eastfield Mall complex. BJ's is the first tenant to open at the site, with more to follow including Hobby Lobby, Target, La-Z-Boy, Petsmart, Burlington, Carter's, Skechers, Chick Fil A, Chipotle, and others! 

BJ's Wholesale Club is your one-stop shop for items including grocery, produce, electronic, household goods, furniture, tires, and much more! 

The store will be open: 
Monday through Saturday 9am to 7pm
Sunday 10am to 6pm

A new anchor tenant is coming soon to Holyoke Mall at Ingleside!

Dick's House of Sports, the supersized version of a standard Dick's Sporting Goods, will occupy the former Sears store at the mall! The barricades advertising the new tenant were recently added to the mall on the former Sears space.  

The new Dick's House of Sports will be your new destination for all things sports! Get ready for new interactive areas of the store. It's more than a store. It's an experience. From baseball to yoga and wrestling to lacrosse, no matter how you stay active, they want to help you reach the top of your game. Not only do they have the top gear you need to perform your best, but they have also created interactive spaces where you can find inspiration and practice your skills.

Most Dick's House of Sports locations include rock climbing walls, batting cages/simulators, small putting greens, a turf field, and much more! You'll also find more experiential retail space throughout the new store. 

No timeline has been announced for their opening. 

Dick's previously operated a 'Warehouse Sale' store at the mall, in the space currently occupied by Mystery Bins. The Warehouse Sale store was a temporary pop-up selling discount clothing and equipment; the store closed in 2024 after 2 years.

Conrad's Casual Dining, a family-owned chain of restaurants, will be opening a new location at the Village Shoppes of Canton in Massachusetts. 

The new restaurant at 95 Washington Street in Canton will replace Bertucci's, which closed earlier this year. This will be the fifth location for the restaurant; they operate locations in Foxboro, Walpole, Norwood, and Needham. 

The restaurant serves burgers, pastas, pizza, sandwiches, fish, steak, and much more. You'll find an elaborate cocktail, wine, and beer list. 

No timeline has been announced for their opening.  

Spirit Christmas is coming  back to Massachusetts this year with 2 locations!

The Christmas spinoff of Spirit Halloween will open this November in Milford and Manchester! The stores will be located at:
-1360 South Washington Street in North Attleborough, former Bed Bath & Beyond
-65 Faunce Corner Road in Dartmouth, former Christmas Tree Shop

The new stores will sell Christmas decorations, gifts, stocking stuffers, and other festive offerings. Shoppers will be able to meet Santa in store. Stores are expected to open in early November, after Spirit Halloween wraps up their sales.

Spirit Christmas had a single store in Massachusetts last year in Dartmouth.

Urban Planet has opened their doors at the Holyoke Mall at Ingleside! The new fast-fashion retailer replaces the former Forever 21 store on the mall's second level. 

Urban Planet is owned by YM, Inc; the owners of Charlotte Russe, Rue21, Mandee, and others. The company owns numerous other brands in Canada. With the opening of Urban Planet comes the closure of Charlotte Russe at the Holyoke Mall. The new store is co-branded as both Charlotte Russe and Urban Planet. 

The new store sells closing for women, men, and kids at affortable prices. They recently started a major expansion into the United States (from their native Canada.) The chain is seizing on the closure of Forever 21 to give them nicely appointed and modern stores, without the cost of a major fit-out.
