Tempur Pedic has closed their South Windsor mattress store.
The store was located at 1 Buckland Road, in the plaza with Hartford Healthcare Urgent Care, Removery, and others. The flagship mattress store opened in 2017 after the plaza was constructed. Somnigroup, the parent company of Tempur Pedic, recently purchased the Mattress Firm chain of stores. Mattress Firm has a Manchester location at 440 Buckland Hills Drive. The former 3,000 square foot store is now for lease. Tempur Pedic is looking to sublease the space for the remaining 2 1/2 years on their lease.
