The new development planned for the former Krawski Farm / Auger Inn / Cumon Inn at 130 Buckland Road is not moving forward at this time.
At the previous meeting of the Economic Development Commission, it was revealed the Citadel Property Advisors has backed out of the planned project due to the engineering costs of the project. This doesn't rule out the development of the project in the future by them or another developer. The development (which was not approved or heard yet by the Town) would have seen the construction of a new hotel, retail buildings, and mid-rise apartment buildings at the rear of the property. The Commission's Chairman Paul Burnham gave this update: "Citadel has backed out on the Krawski property project, as engineering costs have proven to be out of budget. They are stepping away for now, but the property may get developed in the future by them or another developer." according to the meeting minutes.
