All might not be lost for The Shoppes at Buckland Hills! In a recent interview with Journal Inquirer/Heart Media, the mall's new manager Justin Roberts said a number of tenants are in discussions to open at The Shoppes at Buckland Hills! New additions could include:
-Dionysus Theatre Company, a black-box theater putting on plays. They are currently eyeing the former FYE space. -Jus10h, a fashion designer named Justin Hayes. He is currently in discussions to move into the former Lenscrafter space, adding a new studio and showroom. -A 'Family Entertainment Destination' is in negotiations to take over the former Dick's Sporting Goods/Bob's Stores space. -Two new restaurants are in discussion to open at the mall including a Jamaican beef patty restaurant and a Puerto Rican empanada restaurant. -The Mall Manager is also planning on adding new National tenants to the mall’s empty spaces! These deals have not yet been completed, but are in discussion. The new mall owner plans to complete some renovations to the property including beautifying 2 of the mall's entrances, touching up paint, landscaping, and upgrades to the building's HVAC equipment. Namdar Realty Group purchased the mall in late March for $25.8 million.
