Macy’s has put both of their locations at The Shoppes at Buckland Hills up for sale!
Both Macy’s anchor stores at The Shoppes at Buckland Hills have been put on the market for an undisclosed price. The properties are being marketed through Atlantic Retail Partners and Atlantic Capital Partners. The listing states: “Atlantic Retail and Atlantic Capital Partners have been exclusively engaged to market for sale 344 Buckland Hills Drive and 183 Pavilions Drive, two Macy’s anchors to the Shoppes at Buckland Hills in Manchester, Connecticut. Situated in the densely populated suburb that is just 8 miles northeast of Downtown Hartford, the assets offer a tremendous redevelopment opportunity to reimagine on of the most significant parcels along this dominant retail corridor. 344 Buckland Hills Drive and 183 Pavilions Drive are part of a super-regional mall that draws from an urban edge submarket with a local population of over 130,886 people within a 5-mile radius earning over $90,000 per year. Totaling 257,221 SF combined, the two properties are presently unencumbered by any tenant leases, affording immediate redevelopment potential. This combined 18.9 acre site features direct access from I-84, which serves as the dominant interior highway of Connecticut and sees 104,000 vehicles per day. These assets are being offered for sale without a formal asking price, free-and-clear of existing debt.
