21.98 acres of land at 366 Boston Turnpike in Bolton has been listed for sale at $995,000. The lot has sat vacant since the Manchester Drive-In closed its doors in 1986. The drive in was constructed in 1953 at the cost of $100,000. The site could accomadate nearly 500 cars, had a snack shack facility, and a playground. The final screening took place on August 31st, 1986 with 'A Fine Mess' and 'The Karate Kid Part 2'. I think it should be used as a drive in again. There is not enough family things to do in our area thats inexpensive. You can make it fun perhaps put a miniature golf in maybe good icecream. Maybe a good grinder place etc.
