Forever 21 closing Manchester store!

Forever 21 will be closing their store at The Shoppes at Buckland Hills! The store is located on the mall’s first level in the center court.

The chain is contemplating a second bankruptcy filing and is currently liquidating a number of their stores including the Manchester location.

An exact closing date was not immediately available. Sales are currently between 10-40% off.

This is a major hit for The Shoppes at Buckland Hills. The mall is being sold to Namdar Realty Group, owner of most of CT’s dead malls. Macy’s also recently put both Manchester stores up for sale and JCPenney is planning on selling their Manchester store. In unclear if Macy’s or JCPenney will close their stores or lease them back after a sale.
