Jersey Mike’s Subs is coming back to the Berlin Turnpike!
The national sandwich shop chain is coming soon to 1866 Berlin Turnpike in Wethersfield, in Atlas Commons. The sandwich shop will join Starbucks, Wingstop, and Five Guys in the plaza. The chain previously operated a short-lived location in Newington Plaza (home to Ollie’s & Chuck E Cheese) that location closed in the 2010s. This is Jersey Mike’s first Wethersfield location, though they have a location right over the line in Rocky Hill. Jersey Mike’s is quickly expanding, with other new locations coming soon in Litchfield, Ellington, Danbury, Lisbon, Old Saybrook (proposed), and others.
