The cookie chain is located at 70 LaSalle Road in West Hartford, in the former Exclusive Furs space near Bricco. The chain is known for their creative flavors, cookies baked fresh, and delivered until after midnight everyday! Insomnia Cookies include the Classic Chocolate Chunk cookie, the Snickerdoodle and Confetti Deluxe. The bakery serves brownies, brookies, vegan options and a limited-edition menu. The West Hartford location will soon be joined by another new location in Stamford. The chain has existing locations in New Haven, Hartford, Storrs, and now WeHa!

Barnes & Noble has started its relocation sale at the Farmington location ahead of its move to Westfarms!
The bookstore is set to move from its current location at 1599 Southeast Road in Farmington to the former Forever 21 space inside Westfarms. The Farmington location will close on May 2nd and reopen in July inside Westfarms. Stop in and save during their moving sale! Kingdom Buffet has officially opened its doors at 196 Kitts Lane in Newington, they opened in late January. The new restaurant is located at the Newington Commons shopping center. The buffet is beautiful inside with a sleek modern design with traditional elements. Inside you'll find the buffet alongside a small arcade with claw machines. Lots of seating for hungry buffet-goers. The buffet features a variety of cuisines though the majority of the offerings are Japanese and Chinese. Offerings including hibachi, sushi, sashimi, bao buns, seafood (including crab legs and crawfish), meats, desserts, and other delicious options! From sizzling grilled meats and crispy seafood to flavor-packed stir-fries and homemade desserts, catering to every palate. The food was really good! The orange chicken and lo mein were delicious, better than take-out quality. Sushi had a lot of variety with traditional rolls and some creations of their own. The dessert section was decent with the strawberry cream dessert being my absolute favorite. The staff was very attentive! Our server Julie was super nice and friendly, explaining her favorites and how certain menu items are cooked. Manchester's newest Jamerican restaurant has opened its doors!
Legacy It's Tradition (or LIT for short) is NOW OPEN at 206 West Center Street in Manchester, the former Lena's Italian Kitchen space. Legacy It’s Tradition is serving up bold Caribbean flavors you don’t want to miss! Their menu includes Jamaican dishes including pepper steak, jerk chicken, stew chicken, oxtail, curry chicken & goat, snapper, Jamaican beef patties, Coco bread, and much more. A tattoo studio has opened in Newington! Warpath Studio has relocated to 425 New Britain Avenue in Newington.
Stop in and check out your new tattoo therapy destination. Find them in the plaza with Mama's Pizzeria, Venus Nails, and Who's Next Barber Shop The studio relocated to Newington from 328 Main Street in Cromwell. Join them for their grand opening tomorrow, February 26th at 5:30pm. Food and drinks provided. The event will feature a Ribbon Cutting ceremony by Newington Chamber of Commerce starting at 5pm. 
Barnes & Noble is coming soon to Westfarms!
The book retailer will join the Westfarms’ lineup, taking over the former Forever 21 space on the mall’s first floor. Barnes & Noble is the nation’s largest bookstore chain with over 650 locations across the country including 15 in Connecticut. The new Barnes & Noble store is planned to open in July; relocating from their current location at 1599 Southeast Road in Farmington. The store will include books, toys, games DVDs, Vinyls, CDs, and much more. The current Barnes & Noble store is set to close on May 2nd to become the new flagship location of Hannoush Jewelers and Goldfish Swim School after extensive renovations to the building. Westfarms continues to add new and exciting retailers. Recent additions include gorjana, Jamba, and Pink Petal Bakery & Cafe. New businesses are coming soon including Haagen Dazs, Riviera French Café, and others! 
A new taqueria is planned for the former Rita's Italian Ice space!
Taqueria La Grande has received building permits to convert the former Rita's Italian Ice stand into a take-out taqueria. Work is underway to add a new commercial kitchen and front entrance to the former dessert stand. The eatery serves traditional Mexican cuisine including tacos, burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas, taco bowls, and much more. TJ Maxx has started its moving sale at the Meriden location! The deep-discount store will close its location at Meriden Mall on or before March 7th, ahead of the opening of its new location at The Shops at Stone Bridge in Cheshire on March 12th.
