A new development is being proposed for Bloomfield! The Grove is planned to be constructed at 620 Cottage Grove Road in Bloomfied, the land next to Bloom Hill Farm. The development would consist of 4 retail buildings, the developer behind the project is LaSalle Road Companies, LLC. A number of tenants have been proposed for the project including Aldi Supermarket, Chipotle Mexican Grill, and Rebel Dog Coffee Co. according to the development's website, thegrovebloomfield.com The project is anticipated to create over 100 new jobs, generate hundreds of thousands of dollars in new tax revenue, and will preserve 40% of the land. The land was previously eyed for professional office space and most recenly a gas station & car wash. The developer will host a reception for the public with their team and with Alid, Chipotle, and Rebel Dog on March 12th from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the Alvin & Beatrice Wood Human Service Center. Additional details on the project will be shared and your voices heard. Project is still subject to local approvals.

The town is in dire need of business and services that are local to the community. Instead of spending our hard earned dollars in the nearby towns we can support the business that support the grand list that diversify our tax burden. LETS GO!!! Leave a Reply. |
