Lot of news for Windsor! New restaurant opens, a new one coming soon, and another named the Best in CT! A new plant shop is also coming to the new Founder's Square development. Read more below!
-Giovanni's Pizza has opened their doors at Windsor Shops! The pizza shop relocated from 158 Broad Street to 578 Windsor Avenue. Their former home is being redeveloped into a new mixed-use development. The pizza shop replaces the Sovereign Bank. The new restaurant will be located at 520 Windsor Ave, and will features a unique mix of Southern comfort food with a Chinese twist. Menu items include a variety of spring rolls, mac & cheese, lo mein, sandwiches, chicken & waffles, fried chicken, barbeque, wok-tossed entrees, cornbread waffles, and much more. The plant shop will open their second location in the new Founder's Square development. The store sells house plants, supplies, and much more. The new store is expected to open this summer. They have currently have a location at 8 East Main Street in Plainville and their plant-bus that visits farmer's markets and vendor fairs around CT. -Dom's Broad Street Eatery was recently voted Connecticut's Best Breakfast Spot by WFSB - Channel 3 Eyewitness News! The breakfast and lunch restaurant features typical breakfast fare along with typical American lunches including sandwiches, hot dogs, salads, soups, and much more. Find them at 330 Broad Street.
