We are getting more information about the new Big Y World Class Market coming to Westfarms in Farmington! The new grocery store will be built on a portion of the parking lot and grass area on the Southern portion of Westfarms’ property, near JCPenney. The new building will be roughly 53,000 square feet. Construction is planned to start in 2026 with a Spring 2027 opening eyed. “We’re thrilled to become part of the vibrant Westfarms community after a long search for the right opportunity,” said Mathieu L. The Mall recently welcomed gorjana, Jamba, Free People (expansion & new location), Pink Petal Bakery & Cafe, JustCozy, Go! Calendars & Games (upper level near Nordstrom), and many others. They will soon welcome FP Movement & ChinaWok.
