A Wallingford gift shop has announced their pending closure after 7 years of business.
Hidden Gem On Main announced their planned closure on its social media page this morning. The gift shop is located at 33 North Main Street in Wallingford. The gift shop opened in 2018, selling gem stones, crystals, jewelry, herbs, home decor, candles, and much more. The entire store is now 20% off in anticipation for their closure. If you have a gift card, please use it as soon as possible. The closure is due to the sale of their building and the imminent increase in the rent under the new owners. The owner plans to open a new store in the future in the Wallingford Center, Branford, Northford, Durham, or Cheshire area. The store is expected to close by October 31st, though an exact closing date was not announced.
