Updated Torrington Scoop! Market Street Creatives will open their doors on July 1st! Market Street Creatives is located at 100 Lawton Street in Torrington, part of the former Turner & Seymour Facility. The new marketplace will be a year-round indoor vendor market, lounge, workshop space, party rooms, and large studios. Vendors will include gifts, crafts, honey, a coffee shop, and more! The new indoor marketplace will feature the area's finest makers, crafters, and artisans and will serve as an incubator, giving small businesses a place to launch and grow. The first phase will be home to 150 vendors with plans to support 300 in the 20,000 sqft space. They will be a zero commission marketplace, allowing our vendors to keep their profits and have the necessary resources to continue innovating and growing their businesses. In addition to the vendor market, they will have the Market Street Makerspace packed full of equipment and tooling to allow vendors to make products on-site. There will be two large classrooms where vendors can host training classes. This is just the beginning...
