An Aldi store is being proposed for Stratford!
The grocery store would be located at Stratford Square, a shopping plaza located at 411 Barnum Avenue. The grocery store would be a new-construction building located directly next to Esporta Fitness/LA Fitness. The building would occupy land currently being used as a parking lot. The new store would be roughly 20,600 square feet. The project is currently with the Town's Architecture Review Board for their comments before it will move through Planning and Zoning approvals. No timeline has been announced for the grocery store's construction and opening has been announced. Stratford Square shopping center is home to Esporta Fitness/LA Fitness, Marshall's, Five Below, and many more.
