PARANORMAL SCOOP: Paranormal Investigator Dan Rivera dies while on tour with Annabelle Doll7/16/2025 A Connecticut-based paranormal investigator died suddenly over the weekend at the age of 54. Dan Rivera passed away over the weekend according to the New England Society of Psychic Research.
Rivera was one of the handlers of the famed Annabelle Doll. Annabelle is a Raggedy Anne Doll, thought to be possessed by an evil spirit. The doll was made famous in 'The Conjuring' movie series, having 3 standalone 'Annabelle' movies based on the work of Ed and Lorraine Warren. A cause of death was not released. Rivera had been on tour with the Annabelle doll, recently visiting sites in Gettysburg on the "Devil's On The Run Tour'. When on display, the doll is kept in a specially-built case that is blessed regularly by Priests. "Dan truly believed in sharing his experiences and educating people on the paranormal. His kindness and passion touched everyone who knew him," the post said.
