Got the chance to check out the new Casadoro Ristorante & Bar at 2929 Berlin Turnpike in Newington! The new Italian restaurant is the latest concept from the DORO Restaurant Group; owner of Doro Marketplace, Zohara, Treva, Avert, Artisanal Burger Co, and the new No Mames Cantina in Wethersfield (coming soon). The building has been beautifully renovated from the former Bertucci’s that occupied the space beforehand. The interior blends a modern look with industrial elements. I got the Mushroom Ragu, a blend of tagliatelle, wild mushrooms, truffle, porcini butter, and grana padana. My friend got the ribeye served with broccoli rabe and roasted potatoes. The food was delicious and cocktails were great! The restaurant serves a large variety of Italian food including pastas, pizzas, seafood, steak, salads, and other Italian classics.
