Melting Pot will open their New Haven restaurant on May 16th! Reservations are now open here: www.meltingpot.com/reservations
The restaurant will be located at 20 George Street in New Haven, a newly constructed mixed-use building called the Anthem. The restaurant will occupy 5,600 square feet of space in the new building, built on the site of the Coliseum. Melting Pot New Haven features a modern aesthetic complete with intimate dining nooks, upscale artwork, and more. The restaurant will have 230 seats in the dining room, 15 seat bar, a private part room, and patio. Savory fondue options include a variety of melted cheese flavors from the classic Alpine with Gruyère, raclette, fontina, white wine, garlic, and nutmeg to the Fiesta style with aged cheddar, Emmenthaler, Sam Adams Boston Lager®, housemade salsa, and jalapeño, all served with lots of great breads and fresh produce for dipping, in addition to traditional fondue cooking styles such as Court Bouillon (broth), traditional oil, and Coq Au Vin (burgundy wine) for cooking proteins (meat, chicken, and shrimp) and vegetables. A global flavor palate of dipping sauces accompanies the entrée fondues. In addition to a variety of salads such as Caesar and strawberry pecan, an extended entrée menu includes duck breast, Memphis dry rub pork, petite filet, Atlantic salmon, wild mushroom ravioli, and more. The sweet side of the Melting Pot experience is its famous, silky, chocolatey, fabulous fondues, from the pure milk, dark, or white chocolate fondue to the decadent Flaming Turtle - a milk chocolate, caramel flambé, candied pecan palooza, all served with fresh fruit and sweet treats for dipping. Both savory and sweet offerings can be enjoyed à la carte or within set dining packages. Gluten-free and vegetarian dishes are available. The restaurant is currently open during a soft-opening period, but will officially open on May 16th! Find them at 20 George Street in New Haven or online at meltingpot.com/new-haven-ct/ They will be open: Monday-Thursday, 4-10 PM Friday, 4-11 PM Saturday, 12-11 PM Sunday, 12-10 PM
